Her SMS

It's all stupid stuff, he exhales to himself. all the hopes & wishes collapse in front of his very eyes and he looses faith in all the signs he has got up to now. And then 'Ting' his mobile buzzes to signify the arrival of a new SMS. He reads the name and his expressions change, his face lights up, he is smiling now, almost blushing. The frowns evident on his face till a few seconds ago are not vanished.

Now the world seems to make a lot of sense to him. It's all roses and romantic music out there. The cupids start dancing and hearts start raining. He opens the message with great hopes. It's a simple 'Hieeee, How are you'? but he is very happy with it. For him it's nothing less than a full fledged love letter from his sweetheart.  He reads each of the 4 words and a question mark at least 5 times, notices the extra 'e's in Hi and blushes coz that makes him feel very personal, very special. It gives him rays of hope to live with now.

another SMS message buzz...he looks at the name of sender....it's her again...he is ecstatic....she messaged me twice in 10 minutes period....his heart skips a bit.....he puts one hand on his chest and other on the open button of the mobile's keypad. the message reads 'Sorry, had to send to someone else.'
